Dr. Felipe Figueiredo is a brazilian endourologist that have dedicated the last 10 years of his career to develop a self-funded HoLEP program in Brazil. He’s had a self-taught HoLEP learning curve visiting high volume centers to refine the technique and reduce complications of the procedure, specially transient incontinence and urethral strictures. He was the developer of MiLEP (Minimally Invasive Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) using smaller resectoscopes (22F and 18.5F) to perform laser enucleation of the prostate.”
